Dubai ladies are more careers oriented now

Dubai is an Islamic country with its unique culture and beliefs. Dubai is also a society dominated by men. Women are supposed to follow the Islamic beliefs and culture and live within the four walls of their houses looking after the household. In this sense Dubai ladies can be said unique because they follow their customs and culture very vigorously like no one in the world. If you leave this point you will find Dubai ladies as much diverse as in any other part of the world.

Women of different age groups and generations differ greatly from each other. The type of their upbringing also makes difference in them and it is quite evident when you interact with ladies of different sections of society.

Though many Dubai ladies are still deeply rooted in Islam but you will notice that many of them have become more free now. This freedom was not available to them a few decades ago.

This freedom has permitted women to participate in all walks of life. They are now coming forward in large numbers to educate themselves and come out of their houses to take the professions of their choice. But some guidelines are imposed on working women. These rules cover the guidelines about their working hours, dress code, ethics, remuneration, benefits etc.

There are many segments of the industry where women can be seen now. Besides employment women are doing business also.  The industries where women are doing business are hotel, media, fashion, fast moving consumer goods and FMCG etc. It has been seen that women are working in Dubai as successful Doctors, Architects and Lawyers. Many women have opened their own business establishments in these sectors.

Dubai is one of the safest cities of the region. This also motivates Dubai women to come out and perform their role with peace of mind. It has been rightly said that women are an integral part of any country's economy as they constitute almost half of the total work force. Women doing business in Dubai are also contributing in national building and fulfilling their responsibilities professionally and with devotion.

A number of women entrepreneurs in public relations sector.   PR firms are struggling hard to keep pace with client demands for post-recession marketing and management. This has taken well by Dubai women who have started their own PR firms to help the clients overcome their problems.

In fact, President Sheikh Zyed sparked the flames in the mind of girls and women in Dubai that they should play a prominent role in every field and in the development of the country. The constitution of the UAE in 1971 gave equal rights to the women in choosing the desired field of education and they were allowed to choose the careers of their choice. The resulted in drastically bringing down the illiteracy rate in women to 7.6 percent in 2005 from the 85 percent earlier.

In spite of the above change most of the Dubai ladies and girls still prefer to lead a quite life but definitely the difference may be seen now that when the women and girls want to go out for work they are allowed by their elders. They have now become more or less free to choose their profession.
