  • Burj Khalifa has the distinction of being the tallest building in the world. It was also called Burj Dubai or Dubai Tower. It is 828 meters high building and has more than 160 storeys. Dubai Tower has seven world records in its name including the record of being the tallest building in the world, tallest free standing building, and a building having the highest number of storeys.
One of the many reasons of the development of Dubai is its geographical location. Due to the location Dubai has become the ideal hub for international trading. Free trade zones have contributed in this development. Now Dubai has also become the international entertainment center and tourism has become the center of economic activity. The financial institutions from all corners of the world are having their presence there.
